STATE of the UNION...the BS stops here

President Obama gave another rhetoric performance, and although this one was too long, it lifted morale. However, the past shows his words lack follow-through as he has failed to end the wars, provide universal health care and regulate the financial industry. I grew up with the truth, "action speaks louder than words." He changed his focus from the above campaign promises to infrastructure, technology, education and the deficit.
He did mention both infrastructure and the technology for the electric grid in his inaugural address, but no action just empty thoughts. The wars still eat lives, resources and adds to the deficit to the tune of two billion a day. The president wants to adjust President Bush's "no student left behind" with his "race to the top." Finally, he showed his true colors of appeasement rather than conviction when he made a deal with the Republicans two weeks ago to extend the Bush tax cuts which added another $855 billion to our deficit which by the way equals the total deficit of President Clinton's two terms in office in just one minute.
The Republican response was more realistic delivered by Congressman, Paul Ryan. His presentation was very truthful and somber, however you cannot trust the Republicans whose party has been hijacked by the wealthy. In fact, it was later revealed that the whole Republican party did not endorse Mr.Ryan's words and there was even another response by the Tea Party which too has been hijacked by the Republican elite.
I voted for President Obama the first time, but I will not vote for him again. He is an appeaser not a leader. To talk about the deficit and at the same time run a budget of over $1.5 trillion dollars is hypocrisy. In addition, our deficit will exceed 60% of GDP in 2011. When you look at this speech it was nothing more than his reelection campaign getting tuned up. His new direction at education sought of deflects from his original campaign promises and within it offers true irony.
His administration is currently pushing the dollar lower to increase exports(14% of economy) which only helps our large international companies and does nor create jobs because our nation is the only true domestic economy(86% of economy) in the world and we need to create jobs that increase our domestic side of the equation. However, this devaluing of the dollar has caused the global community to do the same exact thing to their currencies and here is the irony of the policy, all currencies are racing to the bottom, to be the lowest currency so they can increase exports. How's that for excellence? Will they teach this in our school system?

All these erroneous economic policies are heading us for another crisis, this one will center on the dollar as the world's reserve currency and play right into the hands of the One World Group under the leadership of the banking industry. We need a new political party that represents the poor and middle class who are the people and not the "free trade" people who are our aristocrats and who are destroying the concept of America as established by our Founding Fathers under the thinking of Jefferson and Madison. Our nation leads the world in the economic gap between the top and bottom and currently have 43.2 million people living in poverty. Put the NEO-FEDERALIST on the voting ticket. A party of the people, by the people and most importantly, for the people.

Recovery? 20 Economic Records that tell another story.

* A new record of 2.87 million Americans received a foreclosure filing.
* A record one million homes were actually repossessed.
* The price of gold rose above $1400 an ounce while the purchasing power of the dollar hit a new low.
* Approximately 1.53 million consumer bankruptcy petitions according to the American Bankruptcy Institute
* Those lucky enough to secure a new job found it took over 35 weeks to find it - a record.
* Manufacturing fell below 10% . This is the lowest ever and getting worse!
* Part-time working Americans is the highest in five decades and those giving up the search - a new record.
* Government spending is at an all-time high along with the number of Americans collecting food stamps(43 mil)and over 50 million Americans on Medicaid and according to the Census Bureau, 43.6 million Americans living in poverty while at the same time Wall St. will provide $144 billion in compensation.
* 157 banks failed in 2010 - an increase over 2009 and over 2008.
* State and local government debt reached an all-time high and not to be out done, the US government surpassed $14 trillion in debt.
...and consider that almost all state and local governments were able to meet obligations due to the stimulus money which won't be available to them in 2011 and the many jobs that were "saved" due to that same stimulus money will await their fate, probably being laid off. In addition, any sovereign debt issues on default will cause a flight to the dollar, causing it to rise and that will choke off our exports, the robo-signing foreclosure disaster will add another spike in the foreclosing process and if that isn't enough, stock analysts predict another oil spike in price. But don't worry, this is the third year in the presidential cycle.

Blood Libel or Bloody Violent?

The tragic shooting this past week in Tucson, Arizona of Congresswoman, G. Giffords by the alleged shooter, Jared Loughner and many innocent bystanders reminds me of how violent our nation can become and the importance of wording like in this blog. Yes, I want to arouse the public to the offenses that I see happening within our society. Yes, I would like a call to action, however I prefer to utilize our democratic system even it it takes a lifetime. Sarah Palin takes offense in the blame for this recent outcome. She calls it,"Blood Libel!"
The PBS, Nightly News Hour posts a death roll when available due to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Ours, started when I was young, JFK in 1963. Both Bobby Kennedy and MLK,jr. in 1968. John Lennon in 1980, et al. How about Kent State or Jackson State? The sad list goes on-and-on. When will we..."GIVE PEACE A CHANCE?"

Layers Need A "CODE" ...Predictions for 2011

Hippocratic Oath, No! ...Just Hypocrites

One of the biggest problems that effects our nation is the fact that over 90% of  Congress are lawyers, but no one addresses this caste system. This group should be nothing more than high priced clerks, however they have weaseled themselves into writing all our laws and basically, running our country. Lawyers need a Hippocratic oath, a code that says what is right goes before my client. Doctors take an oath to heal, but lawyers just want to win, whether justified or not. This is why we have loopholes. When someone says this is against the law, it does not apply to all. No, doesn't mean no and always seems to always have another option. Every law needs to be looked at and reviewed to justify that it is in the best interest of the nation has a whole and not satisfying a lobbyist request. How can companies commit felonies and still operate in the public domain? How can fracking under gas drilling be legal when toxic chemicals are included and are hidden from the public? Water is becoming contaminated because lawyers have no code or conscience. This group needs to be knocked down a few notches and one way is to make them accountable for every law that they write that turns out to be false statements.
Prediction for 2011
It will be the year that states will openly seek federal money to cover state revenue deficits. In the past states have always received federal money under different programs like stimulus, highway construction, pork barrel earmarks, grants, etc. Then, states covered their individual cities basically, doing the same concepts. The problem is that everyone is in the same dire straights and taking from Peter to give to Paul ends. I cannot wait to see how the phony conservative Republicans address this issue, since they were elected to cut government spending and shrink the federal deficit.
This won't be the first time that state governments went into default. In fact, in 1841 eight states and one territory - Florida, defaulted. A resolution to bail out the states was vetoed in Congress in 1843 because more money would only make states more reckless.
Today, California needs $25 billion, Illinois and New York need $10 billion each and on and on. It is on-and-on because the money needed to cover state budget gaps does not even include the unfunded state employee pension plans which balloons the sum total to $1.3 trillion. I see a new spending/bond program for a coalition of states to get them by in the future. Happy New Year!
P.S. I see and ironically, the US dollar rallying which will be good for the poor and middle class because our dollar will buy more making food and energy cheaper. This will result from the sovereign debt problems in Europe. Gold will have a down first half of the year, but that will be a great buying opportunity, if you can understand the long-term implications of our national debt and what that will do to the purchasing power of the dollar. Housing will suffer another leg down and then, it will begin to stabilize. Labor will continue to suffer until the lie of free trade is revealed. It originates from aristocratic thinking which is anti-democratic and thus, anti-American. We only will return to prosperity when we provide some layer of protectionism for our nation. That fact alone mandates a need for a new political party. a party that follows the thinking of Jefferson and Madison.

Who's Ya Daddy?

Ben Bernanke, that's who. And now, he has decided (because the Fed is not elected which circumvents our democracy) to be the father of all central bankers the world over. Oh, Star of Wonder!
It is no wonder that the Federal Reserve opposed an audit of the Fed because it revealed the many expanded aspects of the bank. It showed how they used American taxpayers money to guarantee funds for the crisis not only to our banking industry, but to Europe as well. Bernanke said it was a one-time event to smooth over the financial meltdown in 2008. One time? He lies because this past week Bernanke has extended a credit line to EU central bank if funding is needed. Our Fed declared this is done under a swaps agreement as if this is part and parcel of the daily operations of the Fed. It isn't! This is putting American taxpayers on the hook and this is not even part of the original intention of the crooks at Jekyll Island.
When Portugal tips and you are still looking for a job, they get aid. When Spain needs cash, the Fed opens its ATM, but you won't because the deficits need to be held in check not-with-standing that Obama and his new backup group, the Republicans sing for the rich cause they buy CDs and we cannot afford food and gas. So, my fellow Americans I bid you a Merry Christmas and hope for the rise of a new political party in 2011. A party that relates to a Billy Joel Christmas Carol, called, "Allentown."
"Well we're living here in Allentown. And they're closing all the factories down. Out in Bethlehem they're killing time - filling out forms, standing in line. And we're living here in Allentown."

Chamberlain Appeasement...ended with WAR

...And Obama's will end with the destruction of our economy and dollar. I called that the House would pass the Bush Tax cuts. Now, I'm calling for a new political party for the cries of the disenfranchised Americans, both poor and middle class. I feel that it should emulate the thinking of Jefferson and Madison in substance. How about the Neo-Federalists for a name? Of course, you can submit one and we can poll it. Last thought, gold is going to pull-back due to the Euro problems and the flight to the dollar. This will be your last chance to get it cheap.

The Bad Boy Christmas List...for hypocrites, phonies and criminals

What does W.Buffett, Goldman Sachs and Republicans have in common?
They all made our list under one category or more. The Oracle of Omaha is loved by many people and I use to count myself among the group, however time reveals all and "Time has come today..." Warren is best known as a value investor and is often quoted as opposed to credit default swaps(CDS). He USE to call them,"weapons for mass financial destruction." Now, he uses them and he favors the continuation of non-regulations for them. Bad, but it gets worse. Last year his company took over a railroad giant, Burlington Northern. He immediately laid of 10,000 workers and at present, he is twisting political lawmakers to change our border laws to allow train inspections for engines, cars and parts to be done in Mexico. This is outsourcing of jobs and he says he is bullish on America. Which America, I ask? The one that squeezes workers dry for bottom line profits and uses the present unemployment situation to scare any worker protests? Yeah, that is his choice. Actions speak louder than words. Warren is no George Bailey.
Next, the Wall Street darling, Goldman Sachs. The one that survived our governments case against them and the one that loudly proclaimed that they did not take any TARP money under the bailout program. LIARS! They took over $10 billion, and billions more under a different bailout category. One more thing, how is it that a corporation can commit a crime, even guilty of murder and yet, not claim guilt or have their company disbanded under public safety? Goldman doesn't operate a bank or understand fiduciary like Amadeo Giannini.
Finally, the political party that claims to be financially conservative and is needed as a watchdog for those tax and spend Democrats, the Republicans. The Mid-term elections saw Americans return in mass to these so-called conservatives. They are Hypocrites!
Behind closed doors with another phony, President Obama, the two formulated a plan for the Bush Tax Plan(for the rich) and our laid off workers (poor&middle class) seeking unemployment benefits which have expired. They announced their plan last Monday(2010) and the only hope for America is some backbone in the Democratic Party to veto this plan in Congress. We now know that they don't have any. We need a new political party which stands for the people and not that hijacked Tea group. I drink coffee. Can't wait for the next big deal here in 2012.
Who Wins, Loses?
The government wins and its citizens lose.
By the way the big deal of 2010 cost another $110 billion to our time bomb of debt and adds another hammer-to-the-nail in the dollar purchasing power. The party of Lincoln has evolved to the rich. I declare them the hat trick winners of this list: Hypocrites, Phonies and Criminals!
